The creation of an oil loading terminal in the Far East is a continuation of the development of the energy program of the RAGNIT Holding. The increase in the intensity of shipping in the Okhotsk, Japanese and Bering Seas brings new requests for bunkering of vessels. The emerging logistics of transportation along the Northern Sea Route, increasing demands for energy resources of the countries of Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region, a shortage of oil storage facilities during periods of a sharp decline in demand for oil and oil products, the Holding's own needs made it possible to start working out a technical task for design and construction of an oil loading terminal of the first category. The projected oil loading terminal in the Special Administrative Region of Russky Island will meet all environmental requirements, requirements for seismic resistance and work during the period of typhoon activity. At the technical task stage, the number of tank farm units, the netto capacity of the terminal and other technological parameters will be determined. When creating an oil terminal in the SAR Russky Island will take into account the experience of creating a terminal of the first category in the Special Administrative Region Oktyabrsky Island (Kaliningrad).
